The Creative Writing Programme has launched a series of one-day workshops in November and December for writers wanting to focus on a particular area of their practice. From creating memorable characters and improving your dialogue to boosting your creativity and developing symbolism, imagery and metaphor in prose, our four autumn masterclasses will support you to be a better writer.
These stand-alone courses are run by our experienced tutors –all published authors and poets including Laura Wilkinson, Beth Miller, John McCullough and Roy McFarlane.
- Friday 24th November – Creating Memorable Characters – Laura Wilkison. 10-4pm in Brighton
- Saturday 25th November – Boosting Your Creativity – Roy McFarlane. 10-4pm in Brighton
- Sunday 26th November – Improving Your Dialogue – Beth Miller. 10-4pm in Brighton
- Sunday 3rd December – Imagery, Symbolism and Metaphor in Prose – John McCullough. 10-4pm. Online
The in-person masterclasses are £40 each while the online workshop is £30. Places are limited to 15 for in-person workshops and 12 online so book your place today.
